PLEASE NOTE:
The outpouring of support yesterday was inspiring, and we know that even more of you wanted to participate in Giving Blueday than were able to. The site’s instability meant that many people were not able to make a gift or participate in the match/challenge of their choice.

While we can’t roll back the clock, if you choose to make a gift today, we can help make your gift go a little further as an apology for any inconvenience you might have encountered yesterday.

Every gift today (March 17) will count towards Giving Blueday, and the first 1,000 donors to make a gift today will have their gift matched up to $25.

A huge thank you to our supporters over the course of yesterday! We appreciate you and your gifts very much!

Please support the Physics Undergraduate Student Support Fund

Gifts to the Undergraduate Student Support Fund make these summer research experiences possible. They allow students to work as members of an active research team with leading Michigan faculty for up to 12 weeks over the course of the summer. Students who have participated in the past have found the experience invaluable as they prepare for graduate school or careers. Several students have even been hired as longer-term research team members based on their work and experiences in the program.

Your donation will help us create an inclusive educational environment by helping even more undergraduates attain the experiences they need to find successful future opportunities.

Michigan Physics…leading the way in physics education and research.

Be sure to tune in at 4:00 PM EST on March 22 to watch the Giving Blueday Zoom-A-Thon, a virtual version of a telethon, to see Monika Wood, the physics department demonstration laboratory manager in action performing demos!
