The process of research and interest in the ways engineering is perceived.

What is the extent to which you've kept in contact with your Research Mentor?

I've use her as a reference for previous work but haven't kept steadily in touch.

How did your UROP experience shape or inform the next steps you took in your academic and professional journey?

I learned a lot about academia and research before ultimately using UROP peer facilitator program to pass those skills to other students.

Where are you in your professional journey?

Validation Engineer - Performance Validation. My company provides validation consulting for companies around the Midwestern US. My main site is a large and prominent pharmaceutical site located in southwest Michigan.

What advice would you give to a current UROP student?

Embrace your research and do your best to learn from it.
