UROP's Alumni Spotlight goes to Dr. Julian Vasquez-Heilig. Dr. Vasquez Heilig will be Western Michigan's newest Provost starting January 4th 2023. Vasquez Heilig grew up in Lansing, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, receiving a master's degree in higher education and a bachelor's degree in history and psychology. He earned a doctorate in educational administration and policy analysis and a master's degree in sociology from Stanford University.
