The students will be working with local schools and an orphanage teaching ESL to students and adults from the region who wish to learn English. They will be staying in and around Poconé and Porto Jofre in the southern part of the State of Matto Grosso. The group will be teaching and traveling in the region for a month during June and early July, 2014 and is being sponsored by the GIEU program at U-M.
