SUMMER EAP: Graduate English for Academic Purposes (In-Person)*

Summer EAP is a rigorous and engaging six-week program that prepares new international graduate students admitted for academic, cultural, and professional success at the University of Michigan. Get ready for your academic program and prepare to participate in life on campus in the fall!

*IMPORTANT NOTE FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS AND DEPARTMENTS: The EAP program does NOT provide teacher preparation for Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs) who will be teaching in classrooms and labs and do not fulfill any GSI-related requirements. A highly-interactive four-week online course that prepares newly-admitted U-M international graduate and professional students for academic, cultural, and professional success before beginning their academic programs. 

 

UNDERGRADUATE Online Pre-Arrival Course: Going Blue!

A unique opportunity for newly admitted first-year, transfer, and visiting international students at the University of Michigan to get ready for your first semester at Michigan. You’ll meet other U-M students, learn about campus culture and academic expectations, and receive extensive individualized feedback from the instructor.

 

International GSIs in LSA: ELI 994 College Teaching in the U.S.: Pedagogy, Culture and Language
