On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, ELI’s student staff members welcomed over 70 students to a festive Gingerbread House Decorating event. After a round of warm-up conversations over pizza, participants broke into teams and competed to see who could build the most creative gingerbread house.
Winning teams received prizes that included ELI T-shirts and candy-filled winter-theme mugs. The event closed out with Insomnia cookies in celebration of National Cookie Day!
ELI Student-to-Student events are designed to foster a sense of community among international graduate and undergraduate students and provide a relaxing break from studying, teaching, and research.
