What inspired you to take a class at the English Language Institute?
I recognized the importance of honing advanced academic writing skills for my research in multimedia design principles for learning. The ELI 522 course, with its focus on exploring and expanding skills and strategies for writing scholarly genres, aligns perfectly with my needs. As I delve into synthesizing a vast array of information for my literature review, the course's emphasis on critical thinking proves invaluable. It provides me with the tools to effectively communicate my findings and contribute to the academic discourse in my field.
What have you enjoyed the most about your experience with ELI's resources? Why?
What I have enjoyed most about my experience with ELI's resources is the connection between our instructor, Sara, and my classmates. Their invaluable support has been instrumental in my PhD application and research journey.
What do you hope to do after graduating from Michigan?
After graduating from Michigan, I hope to either work as a research assistant or apply for a PhD program in the field of educational technology.
