When grade changes are used
Instructors can make grade changes to correct an error or update incomplete grades.
Note: The policy for posting incomplete grades changed as of Fall 2026. Please see Incompletes for more information.
Grade changes are not used for students submitting extra work or retaking or revising an exam, unless such an opportunity is available to all students in the class.
