How class standing is determined

Class standing is based on how many credit hours a student has accumulated toward graduation. At the end of each term, a student's total credits are added up, including test credit and transfer credit.

Fewer than 25 creditsFirst Year
25 through 54 creditsSophomore
55 through 84 creditsJunior
85 credits or moreSenior

How class standing affects tuition

Students at the Junior or Senior level pay a higher per-credit tuition rate than First Year or Second Year students.
