On Monday, July 17, the ELI held its second annual Ice Cream Social in the treed courtyard in front of Weiser Hall. The event brought together the three ELI summer groups: international U-M graduate students enrolled in the Summer EAP program, Summer in Michigan students from South Korea, as well as participants and facilitators in ELI’s Conversation Circles program.
The students, instructors, and staff enjoyed handmade gourmet ice cream sandwiches while engaging in great conversations, making new friends, and doing a little dancing. The perfect weather made it for a true Michigan summer experience!
