Building Thriving Workplaces: The Intersection of Culture, Data, and Decision-Making
I have always been very interested in workplace culture and how a positive work culture contributes to organizational success. Through my Organizational Studies pathway, I want to explore research-based methods for improving organizations by cultivating positive work environments. As a double major in economics, I am also interested in using data to predict and affect outcomes. My pathway focuses on the intersection of economics, data, and organizational decision-making and exploring how to use statistics and data to quantify organizational effectiveness and develop tools to maximize it. Ultimately, I aspire to help leaders within organizations develop procedures and policies that create thriving workplace cultures while maximizing employee engagement and business outcomes.
