Alumni Shadowing Program
With a foundational background in the social sciences and coursework across multiple disciplines, OS graduates are prepared to tackle challenges in many types of organizations.
OS supports our students as they explore post-college options. Capitalizing on the goodwill of our active alumni body as mentors, our alumni shadowing program enables students to explore many jobs. But this is not your average company tour. Students will have the ability to attend meetings, interact with clients, use specific software tools, and interview alumni and their colleagues.
Students return from alumni shadowing with a better sense of the field and better focus as they seek employment!

The Campaign for OS
Our students choose OS for everything it offers, including the experiences that truly set our program apart—a customizable degree, funding support for study abroad, research, internships, shadowing experiences, and access to distinct and exceptional alumni support for career and grad school transitions. OSers’ academic and co-curricular experience strengthen the fabric of our community’s connections even beyond graduation.
To maintain this bold legacy and in honor of our 20th anniversary this year, we are continuing the Campaign for OS. We began this initiative with a goal to raise $1M for an endowment to support the student programming that makes OS the rich and unique experience that it is. After a great Giving Blueday last year and thanks to our incredible donors throughout the year, we are almost halfway to our goal! "This experience gave me industry perspective that I would have had difficulty finding, had it not been such an immersive experience. I learned what it was like to do mission-driven work that impacts an entire generation and society.
Giving this gift greatly benefits a student like me - students who want to make an impact, but lack the expansive network required to gain as much perspective as possible."
