PATHWAY
Elevating Organizations through Decision Sciences, Strategic Communication, and Analyzing Consumer Data
I am curious in understanding human behavior to develop creative organizational strategies and optimize performance. Through an interdisciplinary lens combining business, psychology, sociology, and economics, I am motivated to understand consumer decisions and integrate feedback to drive sustainable growth. My pathway explores decision sciences, marketing, human capital management, and philosophy to aid organizations in developing targeted strategic approaches when communicating to employees and the larger community. With my double major in Cognitive Science focused on decision-making, I aim to have a deep understanding of decision and choice that ranges from formal approaches of rational choice to innovative approaches with algorithmic models. Combining behavioral science, data analysis, and cultural studies, I hope to create effective marketing and maximizing profits with data-driven decisions.
Alongside core Organizational Studies coursework, I will follow my passions taking cluster courses surrounding leadership, communications, sustainability, and culture. My studies are guided by my underlying interest in human behavior exposing me to a wide variety of lenses to explore and understand organizations. Through involvements outside of the classroom I aspire to learn more specifically about the fashion and beauty industry to guide my future career.
