PATHWAY
The Intersection of Human Behavior and the Law
My Organizational Studies pathway combines my aspirations of a career in the law with my passion for psychology and mental health. I’ve always been intrigued by human behavior and the internal processes that inspire such behaviors, and have solidified my interest in the law and policy in my time at Michigan thus far. Through an interdisciplinary approach that combines the study of law-related disciplines and psychology, I will develop a deeper understanding of the human behaviors, cognitive processes, and social structures that shape the legal system. My coursework will allow me to critically analyze how organizations function within the legal system, and how organizations can be used to influence human conduct and mental health awareness reforms. Additionally, I hope that my pathway will assist me in building the analytical, critical thinking, and research skills necessary for a career in law that prioritizes justice and mental health awareness.
