Strategies for Enhancing Sustainability in Organizations
Driving sustainability progress requires navigating and reshaping institutionalized norms and practices, mobilizing diverse stakeholders, and overcoming resistance to change. My Pathway focuses on the intersection between strategy, sustainability, and leadership while exploring how to incorporate environmental reforms into organizations effectively. I intend to examine the dynamics between institutions and individuals, becoming a leader that helps shape or refine an organization’s future direction and mission. OS’s core curriculum and my Pathway enable me to do so, merging my interests in business, sports, policy, psychology, and sustainability through an organizational lens. This interdisciplinary approach will enable me to advance sustainability efforts by demonstrating the alignment between sustainability's financial and social benefits and organizations' strategic goals.
