Strategies for Enhancing Sustainability in Organizations
I have always been captivated by the Olympics, not just as a celebration of athletic achievement. It is a worldwide event that unites nations, transforms host cities, and promotes innovation on a global level. Behind the spectacle lies years of planning and strategy, with sustainability becoming a focal point for the Games. After graduation, I aim to work for organizations such as the International Olympic Committee (IOC), helping them implement initiatives to minimize environmental footprint while maximizing impact. My Pathway focuses on the intersection between strategy, sustainability, and leadership while exploring how to incorporate environmental reforms into organizations effectively. I intend to examine the dynamics between institutions and individuals, becoming a leader that helps shape or refine an organization’s future direction and mission. OS’s core curriculum and my Pathways merge my interests in business, sports, law, and sustainability through an organizational lens. This interdisciplinary approach will enable me to navigate complex relationships and influence outcomes involving the International Olympic Committee, sponsors, athletes, host cities, and fans.
