Optimization Through Inclusive and Supportive Practices
I believe that inclusive policies and cultural competency improve connections and create a healthier organizational atmosphere. I want to look at how to facilitate connections and establish a productive atmosphere using principles of DEI, Positive Psychology, and Intergroup Relations in corporations and group settings. Educating and training organizations to understand each other more can lead to better collaboration and more comfort working together to achieve a common goal. I also want to investigate how power dynamics and cultural differences can be shifted or used to increase workplace happiness and create an environment people want to be involved in. All of these approaches aim to increase efficiency while preserving stakeholder mental well-being and overall wellness.
In a political setting where inclusive policies are under scrutiny and thought of as a waste of time and money, I want to formulate an understanding of how organizations benefit from supporting their members and facilitating positive connections and interactions.
