Advocating for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace
Within the past century, society has made great strides to improve the workplace for all their workers. Yet, there are still obstacles, with a lack of DEI being one of the greatest problems. Why is this still happening? How do we improve the workplace for everyone?
Through my OS pathway, I want to address these problems by learning more about the intersection between Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Human Capital and Leadership, and Positive Organizational Scholarship. Along with my minor in Chinese Language and Culture, I aim to understand the societal and cultural contexts of these issues and utilize my organizational perspective to strengthen workplace culture.
