Maddison Linker, WiL President
Hi! My name is Maddison Linker, and I am a senior here at the University of Michigan. I am eager to be the President of WiL this year! My Organizational Studies pathway is “Post-Secondary Education within Developmental Psychology with additional interest in Human Resource Management.” I am majoring in both Psychology and OS and am currently applying to graduate schools to obtain a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology to become a professor. Outside of WiL, I am involved in Crochet for Good, Intramural Sports, and The Dead Pizza Society. I am a Research Assistant for 3 different research labs on campus, each of them in different university departments! This summer I participated in the UROP Women and Gender Summer Fellowship Program, working as an RA at the Institute for Social Research here at U of M. I am so excited toget to know you all and create a stronger OS community through Women in Leadership!
Livy Zintak, WiL Vice President
Hi! My name is Livy Zintak, and I can’t wait to serve as one of the VPs of WiL this year! Alongside my OS major, I’m pursuing the Ross Cappo Sales & Marketing track and a minor in Political Science. I’m passionate about business psychology and behavioral economics, specifically within the context of corporations’ go-to-market strategies. My OS pathway is tailored to deepen my understanding of these areas. This past summer, I was able to explore these interests through my internship at a private equity firm called Insight Partners, where I worked with their value creation team focused on sales & marketing growth-acceleration advisory for their portfolio companies. Previously, I’ve gained valuable experience interning for DIRECTV in Marketing, as well as at the Washtenaw County Public Defender office as a legal assistant intern. Outside of school, I enjoy skiing, surfing, reading, running, and trying new foods! Throughout my time at Michigan, I’ve loved being a part of both OS and WiL’s supportive and inspiring community – I can’t wait for another year of empowering, collaborative, and constructive events with WiL!
Kamryn Harty, WiL Vice President
Hi! I’m Kamryn Harty, and I am super excited about my final year on the WIL executive team as co-VP. I'm a senior in the Organizational Studies program pursuing minors in user experience (UX) design and law, so my pathway reflects a fusion of these three interests. I’m focused on understanding how design-thinking principles can inform the creation of organizational strategy to support both customer and employee experiences within organizations. In addition to being on the WIL exec team, I serve as Vice President of the Michigan Yog aClub, am a member of the Michigan Open UX club, and worked this summer as a FLEX Emerging Leader intern for Cisco Systems, where I assisted with the creation of their AI hiring strategy. In the future, I hope to continue exploring human capital, business strategy, and legal spaces. Outside of school, I love to watch live music, practice yoga, explore new restaurants, and be with my friends. I can’t wait to work with our team to plan some awesome events this year!
Jo Swinton, WiL Executive Board Member - Internal Affairs
Hi! I’m Jo Swinton and I’m a junior in OS here at the University of Michigan! Within OS, my pathway of study is “Inclusive Business Leadership: Understanding the Intersectionality of Business Functionality and Community Impact to Develop Positive Organizational and Societal Change.” I hope to explore the people side of business and learn how to apply the creative and multidisciplinary perspectives OS offers, in order to make a tangible impact on my community through business. I am also pursuing double minors in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration. Outside of OS, I am the social chair of Michigan Club Swimming, and am involved in Girl Up Michigan on campus as well! I love to bake, try new coffee spots, and study with my friends! I’m so excited for my first year in WiL and to get to know this amazing community within OS!

At UMich, I am the music director of my a cappella group, the DJs, a member of the marketing team for the Michigan Music Business Club, and a crossword constructor for the Michigan Daily. I’ve also worked as an art teacher at a camp for the last few summers, and was the social media lead for Crossing Party Lines, a nonpartisan political organization this summer.
