Makeda Turner has 20 years of experience working as a higher education professional. She has worked in various capacities including admissions, advising, and first-year instruction. A few roles she has held at the University of Michigan are Chief Administrator, Assistant Director, Academic Advisor, and Recruitment Coordinator.
Makeda is a proud alumnus of Eastern Michigan University, having earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Leadership, a Master of Art in Higher Education & Student Affairs, and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
In her spare time, Makeda enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sporting events, and participating in workout classes such as zumba and dance fitness.
