PATHWAY
People Strategy, Decision-Making, and Organizational Behavior
My pathway focuses on how organizations make decisions about people, and how those decisions are shaped by human behavior, perception, and internal dynamics. Through mentoring and observing recruiting at Michigan, I became interested in how informal systems, such as networking and referrals, influence who gets opportunities within organizations. I want to study how leaders design and manage these systems, while also understanding the psychological factors that drive decision-making, such as bias, social influence, and how people respond under pressure. I am especially interested in high-stakes environments where decisions around people and communication directly affect outcomes and team performance. Long term, I am interested in roles that combine business strategy with communication, where I can help organizations navigate complex situations.
