Creating and developing thoughtful urban communities requires the synergy and passion found in mindful organizations. This collective passion has the potential to make lasting changes in communities. By deepening my understanding of the root causes of inequality and the ways in which organizations both drive and fight against inequality, I will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to develop urban communities and housing in a sustainable and impactful way. Courses I have taken such as Urban Inequality, the Psychology of Inequality, and Urban & Environmental Planning have fueled my long-term goal of creating affordable public housing that is beautiful and modern and gives community members access to resources, organizations, and amenities to uplift and support them.
I am passionate about delving deep into the communities, policies, and companies which both promote and prohibit urban development to gain a strong foundation for my goal of creating an organization that develops sustainable, affordable, and thoughtful urban communities.
