Graduate Student Instructor
About
Shloka is a second-year Social Psychology PhD student with a background in law and public policy, originally from India. Her emerging interests lie at the intersection of contemplative science, developmental psychology, education, and social psychology with the goal of designing and evaluating school-based interventions that cultivate compassion, connection, emotional balance, and eudaimonic wellbeing for children and adolescents.
Her current research projects involve large-scale field experiments – a collective aspirations intervention that promotes prosociality in the rural Philippines, and a soft skills curriculum in partnership with India’s national livelihoods program designed to advance economic mobility and wellbeing for women living in extreme poverty.
