About
Eli Burstein is a proud graduate of the Organizational Studies program – which served as a phenomenal launch pad to quite the interdisciplinary life since then. From Peace Corps (inspired by a conversation with Cathy Philbin!) to Deloitte Consulting to Michigan Law School to Michigan Business School to Kirkland & Ellis’ Private Equity practice, from Costa Rica to Chicago to Leadville, CO to Fairbanks, Alaska. Eli is excited for his 4th stint as a GSI, after two bouts at SOC 379: Sports, Politics, and Society (taught by his Org Studies Honors Thesis Advisor, Professor Andrei Markovits) and one appointment in the Germanic Languages and Literature Department.
