About
Raoul Minetti is a Professor of Economics and Adjunct Professor of Finance at Michigan State University. He joined MSU in 2002, after receiving his Ph.D. from the London School of Economics. His research focuses on macro-finance (international and domestic issues), the interaction between finance and trade, and banking. Recent research topics include, for example, the impact of global banking on macroeconomic fluctuations, the role of supply chains in shock propagation, and the international geography of banking.
He serves or has served on the editorial boards of various scientific journals including, more recently, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking (associate editor) and Oxford Economic Papers (coeditor). He has acted as consultant or advisor for the IMF, the World Bank, the European Parliament and the Italian Ministry for Economic Development.
