Health Economists study both the organization of health delivery and health outcomes. Within the department, the focus of much of the work of Amanda Kowalski and Zach Brown is on health economics. Bleakley and Bound also publish on health related topics. Health economists from outside of the department, including faculty from the Ross School of Business, the Health Management and Policy Department in the School of Public Health, and the Institute for Social Research, regularly attend our seminars and interact with our students.
