Congratulations, Dan Nemser, for receiving the 2025-2026 Faculty Fellowship from the Institute of the Humanities! This unique fellowship enables Dan to be released from teaching for one academic year. In addition, he will participate in a weekly fellows seminar and present a lecture in the Hear, Here: Humanities Up Close series.
Dan Nemser is an Associate Professor of Spanish in the Romance Languages and Literatures Department. His research examines Indigenous culture, political hierarchy, and questions of race, racial categories, and racial theories in colonial Latin America.
