Textbook Reserve

There are first and second year textbooks/workbooks/audio and video on reserve at the Language Resource Center (LRC) for use in the main center. Students can photocopy sections or exercises for their use.

Language Learning Programs

The LRC also subscribes to online language learning tools: from subtitled video shorts (Yabla), to Mango Languages (think Rosetta Stone or Duolingo), to international television with SCOLA.

Video Collection

The LRC has thousands of videos available to watch in the main center. View their online catalog. 

Free Reading Collection

Students faculty and staff can check out the items from the LRC print collection, including a collection of graphic novels in French, Spanish and Italian, for loans up to 2 weeks at a time.

Newspapers

The Library subscribes to newspapers from around the world, which are available online at Library PressDisplay.

The Spanish Club and Le Comité Francophone offer free drop-in tutoring at the Language Resource Center (located on the lower level of North Quad). You can find the current hours for free French and Spanish peer tutoring on the RLL language club page.

The Language Resource Center also hosts a database of tutors and conversation partners on their website. They also have a section dedicated to language translation.
