OS and Psychology Assistant Professor, Catherine Thomas has received the Otto Klineberg Intercultural and International Relations Award from the SPSSI for her work with five other colleagues on their article titled “How culturally wise psychological interventions can help reduce poverty”.

SPSSI states that the award is given to "the best paper or article of the year on intercultural or international relations" in remembrance of Dr. Otto Klineberg (1899-1992), an early president of the society.
