OS 203 activism course group protests racy ads
As part of Professor Michael Heaney's OS203 activism course, students are required to work with peers in the class on a team project that involves planning and implementing an activist event. The event may be run entirely as an independent action organized by the team or may rely on cooperation with an already existing organization. On April 10, the student group Fashion for Freedom staged a mock fashion show on campus Friday to protest the sexualization of women's bodies in advertising. See this link for details!
