Economics Ph.D. Rosina Rodriguez Olivera won the Uruguay National Prize of economics (Premio Nacional de Economia Prof. Raúl Trajtenberg) for her job market paper “Optimal Disclosure of Private Information to Competitors”. The National Prize for Economics is awarded every two years by the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of the Republic (Udelar). "Its objective is to promote the development of the production of knowledge in economics in the country and stimulate the work of young researchers, the award distinguishes the best unpublished research work in economics produced by a young Uruguayan or resident in Uruguay", indicated the university. Rosina is the first woman who was awarded the prize.
