Economics Alumnus, Patrick Kline (PhD ’07) has been seleced as the winner of the 2021 IZA Young Labor Economist Award for his outstanding research on empirical methodology in labor economics and on the determination of wages.
Patrick is a Professor of Economics at UC Berkeley. In addition to his PhD in Economics, he received his Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. He also received the Sherwin Rosen Prize at the Society of Labor Economists Annual Meeting in 2018.
