Michael Beauregard is a Founding Partner and Member of the Investment Committee at Huron Capital Partners, LLC, and joined the firm at its inception in 1999.  Based in Detroit, Huron Capital is an operationally-focused private equity investment firm.  The firm targets both control equity stakes in fundamentally sound companies that the firm believes can benefit from its operational approach to creating value.  Huron Capital firm has successfully established seven investment funds totaling approximately $2.0 billion in capital and has completed over 270 acquisitions throughout North America. Huron Capital portfolio companies have had aggregate annual revenues exceeding $3.0 billion, 15,000 employees and operated over 325 facilities. Huron Capital’s sector focus includes business services, consumer products & services and specialty industrials.

Prior to Huron Capital, Mike was Vice President, Finance & Investments for Duchossois Enterprises, a Chicago-based privately-held conglomerate of operating and investment companies. Prior to working with the Duchossois Family, Mike was a Managing Director at Macam Corporation (affiliated with First Chicago Equity Capital) and a Principal with Japonica Partners jointly serving as Vice President, Strategic Planning for its portfolio company, Sunbeam-Oster Company, Inc.

Mr. Beauregard holds an AB in Economics from the University of Michigan; M.B.A from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburgh); J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He has served on the board of directors for Prism Enterprises, RiversideWorld, Labstat International, Artissimo Designs, Excel Homes, Northern Cap, Olon Industries, Optimum Plastics, Quest Specialty Chemicals, York Label, Argyle/TCK Holdings, Systems, Inc., Valentus Specialty Chemicals, Aquamar Holdings, Ronnoco Beverage Solutions, Horsepower Holdings, WD Diamonds and Brudner Polymer Corp.
