The [(UM)2C]43 competition will be held in person on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 1-4 pm in East Hall Basement Room 844 (EH B844).
The University of Michigan organizes a mathematics competition every year for undergraduate students. Usually, this competition takes place around the beginning of April. The test consists typically of 10 mathematical problems. The students should solve as many questions as possible (with proofs!) within 3 hours. The difficulty of the problems may vary from easy to extremely hard, but on average, they are quite hard. The problems are contributed to by department members. Cash prizes are awarded to the top students! Students who want to participate should sign up before the exam.
University of Michigan undergraduate students who want to participate in the 43rd Annual U-M Undergraduate Mathematics Competition will be able to register when the registration form goes live at the beginning of 2026.
[(UM)2C] Registration is open for 2026. Please REGISTER HERE.
