Larry La Fountain-Stokes

Larry La Fountain-Stokes, Chair of American Culture, professor of Spanish and professor of Women’s and Gender Studies, recently discussed the role of drag performance in the Arts & Resistence semester at the University of Michigan.

The article also touches on Black culture such as hip-hop and Detroit memorabilia as well as the University of Michigan Museum of Art's exhibit addressing the University's role with respect to its origins as indigenous peoples' land.
