Part of the Emergencias: Latin American Aesthetics and Politics Lecture Series
Building on the contributions of Jean-Louis Deotte and Georges Didi-Huberman, this presentation will explore the politics inherent in the contemporary poetic, visual, and cinematic apparatus of Latin America, paying particular attention to the work of Juan Luis Martínez, Andrés Ajens, Raoul Ruiz, Ariel Guzik, and others.
The lecture will be in Spanish.
