About
Sameer Nair-Desai is a PhD Student in Economics, and a Graduate Fellow in the Demography Training Program at the Population Studies Center. His research agenda focuses on topics at the intersection of labor, development, and health economics.
Sameer previously worked as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, with Professor Matthew Gentzkow; and as a Research Assistant at the Brown University School of Public Health, with Dean Ashish Jha. Sameer earned his BA at the University of Southern California, where he studied Economics and Political Science (International Relations).
