About
Toni Whited is a financial economist with interests in corporate finance and structural estimation. She received her Ph.D. from Princeton, and has held positions at the University of Wisconsin, the University of Rochester, and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan before joining the economics department. She has won a Jensen Prize for one of the top articles in corporate finance in the Journal of Financial Economics and twice won a Brattle Prize for one of the top articles in the Journal of Finance. She is the past-president of the Western Finance Association, and she serves as editor-in-chief for the Journal of Financial Economics.
