About
Ed Cho is from the Silicon Valley, California, and moved to the East Coast to continue his education, earning his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After a short stint in private industry as a litigation consultant, Cho has since returned to his true passion as an educator. He has taught at various universities which include Harvard, MIT, and Wellesley College.
Cho has won multiple teaching prizes, which include the Golden Apple Award at the University of Michigan. Previously, his teaching was recognized at Harvard with a Certificate of Distinction in Teaching, and the Department of Economics Allyn Young Teaching Prize.
At the University of Michigan, Cho has taught Financial Markets, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Law and Economics. He is also one of the department’s undergraduate concentration advisors. In his spare time, Cho enjoys travel and food.
