Robin Barlow was a Professor of Economics at Michigan from 1961 through 1988, specializing in economic development, notably of the Middle East. From 1988 until 2000, Robin was a Professor of Public Health, first in the Department of Population Planning and International Health, then in the Department of Epidemiology. In addition to serving our department as associate chair, Robin directed the Center for Research on Economic Development and the Center for Middle Eastern and North African Studies.
A memorial service will be held October 16 at 4 pm, in St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Richland, Michigan.
