Vamsi Bonthala is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Arbor Lodging Partners, an award-winning national hotel investment firm. Vamsi has overseen approximately $1 billion oftransaction volume since the inception of Arbor Lodging Partners, where he leads all companyactivities including general corporate strategy, investor relations, strategic relationships,acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management. Vamsi is also co-founder and Principal ofArbor Lodging Management, the management affiliate of Arbor Lodging Partners, which hasbeen named one of the nation’s top hotel companies multiple times by Hotel ManagementMagazine. Prior to co-founding Arbor Lodging, Vamsi practiced law in the Private Equity groupof Kirkland & Ellis LLP and the Real Estate group of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.
Vamsi earned his AB in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan,where he received Class Honors and University Honors. Vamsi earned his JD from theUniversity of Michigan Law School, where he was an Associate Editor of the Michigan Journalof International Law. Vamsi has been a speaker at numerous industry events and is a member ofthe Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the AHLA Hospitality Investment Roundtable, theEconomic Club of Chicago, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Vamsi also serves onthe Michigan Economics Leadership Council, the advisory board of the University of MichiganDepartment of Economics. Vamsi was previously selected as an Emerging Leader by theChicago Council on Global Affairs and recognized as one of Real Estate Forum Magazine’s 50Under 40.
