Help support the next generation of physics scholars by joining the U-M Giving Blueday movement on Tuesday, November 27!
How does it work?
The U-M Department of Physics has their own Giving Blueday webpage that will start accepting donations at 12:00 am on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. On that date, simply click the button on the Physics Giving Blueday web page to donate. You may also share the link to donate with others through social media.
Background of Giving Blueday:
According to Wikipedia, "Giving Tuesday, often stylized as #GivingTuesday for purposes of hashtag activism, refers to the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season."
Many non-profit organizations have started their own Giving Tuesday campaigns. Giving 'BLUE'day is the University of Michigan's adaptation of Giving Tuesday. Check out the University of Michigan Giving Blueday website for more information.
Your contributions are integral to the continuing success and growth of the U-M Department of Physics.
