Giving Blueday is here!

We want you to share in the excitement of providing the Saturday Morning Physics Lecture Series as we celebrate 30 years!

Our audience continues to see national faculty and student experts present the latest scientific theories and reveal the mysteries of their work through dynamic experiments within this program.

Designed for general audiences, the lectures are an opportunity to hear physicists discuss their work in easy-to-understand, non-technical terms. The multimedia presentations include hands-on demonstrations of the principles discussed, along with slides, video, and computer simulations.

We hope to brighten your Saturdays by providing in-person SMP lectures, complete with coffee and donuts! If you prefer to watch the lectures from home, we continue to offer virtual livestream lectures as well.

Support the outstanding programming that has long been associated with the Saturday Morning Physics series. Your donation will help us continue to feature leading scientists and make physics more accessible to the greater community.

What is Giving Blueday?

Giving Blueday is the University of Michigan’s annual day of giving. The University of Michigan invites everyone who is passionate about Michigan to support what they love about the University by making a donation between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on March 19.

In the meantime, you may donate here.
