About
Xu Dong (Daniel) is a senior in LSA, majoring in Psychology with minors in Intergroup Relations and Asian Languages & Cultures. In Summer 2023, he studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, where he earned a Scholastic Award for academic achievement. During Winter 2025, he continued his studies at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan, where he put his Japanese language skills to use. While there, he joined the university’s dance team, performed at the annual school festival, and built meaningful connections with both fellow exchange students and locals, both in and out of university. In just fourteen days, he traveled solo through eleven of Japan’s forty-seven prefectures. Outside of his academic pursuits, Daniel enjoys reading, writing, and dancing. Following graduation, he plans to spend a year conducting research before applying to PhD programs.
