About

I am a PhD candidate in Spanish (ABD). My dissertation employs critical theory and cultural studies tools to explore the connections between meat/flesh imagery and political imagination in contemporary Latin American literature by women writers. My early critical explorations focused on the work of the Argentine poet Amelia Biagioni through a psychoanalytical and philosophical lens. In my master’s dissertation, I studied the intermedial relations between literature, audiovisual art, and digital technologies in cultural objects that reimagine Van Gogh’s life and work.
