Lucila is a first-year RLL Spanish PhD Student. She earned her BA and Teaching Degree in Anthropological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. Her undergraduate research focused on memory, political subjectivation, and contested territorialities in Huaco (northern San Juan, Argentina), examining how local populations, the Comunidad Warpe del Territorio del Kuyum, and the Asamblea Jáchal No Se Toca mobilize intimate and situated practices of resistance against historical invisibilization and neo-extractivism.
She has completed research stays at the University of Pavia (Italy) and the University of Zagreb (Croatia). Her work intersects with visual and photographic practices, with funding from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes (Argentina) and artistic residencies at the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA), the Centro Cultural de la Memoria Haroldo Conti, and the Branislava Sušnik Residency in Slovenia.
