Sahil Kumar

I did my Bachelor's and Master's in Hispanic Language and Literature at the University of Delhi. I finished my M.Phil dissertation, also from the University of Delhi, on the politics underlying the fictions of Jorge Luis Borges in which I look at the similar ways in which Borges and Walter Benjamin both use a language projected towards a future world radically different than our present one. My research interests lie in exploring the relationship between Literature and Politics in the Latin American context, 20th century Latin American literature, works of Jorge Luis Borges and Walter Benjamin, debates on Modernity, critical theory, psychoanalysis and Marxism.
