About
Kate holds a PhD in Hispanic and Latin American languages, literatures, and linguistics and the Environmental Humanities from Wayne State University. Her current project analyzes the US-Mexico border through an environmental humanities framework, tracing the multi-being losses and pathways of posthuman solidarity that occur in borderscapes. Research interests include: Latin American climate fiction; borderlands studies; Indigenous Knowledges; the Environmental Humanities; Labor Studies.
