Congratulations 2021 Graduates!
Though we are saddened that we cannot physically come together during this special time, all the faculty and staff of the Department of Economics are thinking of you and are still excited to celebrate in a virtual and socially-distant way.
Whether an international or domestic student, first-generation or legacy, non-traditional or traditional, started out at U-M or transferred in: YOU are a true-blue Michigan Wolverine—one of the Leaders and Best, and we are here to recognize all that you have accomplished!

Graduating Non-Traditional Students Exemplify U-M Spirit to be Leaders & Best
The road to college graduation is infrequently a straightforward path with many facing a myriad of challenges between themselves and their diplomas. Some students identify as non-traditional—those who worked full-time to attend college part-time, those with caregiver responsibilities, or who took an extended break before starting or completing their undergraduate studies.
Three such non-traditional students share a drive to better themselves and persevere through their unique circumstances to complete their degrees.
