The Jasco J-1500 CD Spectrophotometer is jointly owned by the University of Michigan Department of Chemistry and the Biophysics Program.
Use of this instrument is limited to faculty with a primary appointment in either:
- Chemistry
- Biophysics
This instrument is not available to other users.
Capabilities
The Jasco J-1500 CD Spectrophotometer can measure:
- UV-visible absorption spectra
- Circular dichroism, or CD, spectra
The measurement cell can be temperature controlled from about 10°C to 80°C.
An automated titration accessory is also available.
Access and Training
