Optical Tweezers + Fluorescence Microscope

The SPN is a custom-built optical tweezer system which also incorporates TIRF/epifluorescence imaging.  Optical tweezers allow measurement and manipulation of biomolecules at forces and displacements at scales relevant to single biomolecules and cells: down to sub-pN and sub-nm.
